On-demand, mobile testing
TapLabs can bring testing to your location. Our expert technicians are available seven days a week for occupational health testing at your job site. We also offer 24/7 mobile service for immediate-need testing, such as post-incident or reasonable cause.
Easy booking
Our proprietary booking platforms make scheduling and managing bookings a snap. Employees simply go to our online booking portal or download the TapLabs app, create an account, select the specific test type required for work and a preferred time and location.
Our services
Point-of-Care (POCT) urine drug test
An express screening test producing immediate results. POCT diagnostic test devices can screen for extended panels and compounds to meet your company or site requirements. Upon request, non-negative POCT samples will be shipped to the laboratory for confirmation.
Lab-based urine drug test
A gold standard 5-panel laboratory drug test available for Non-DOT and DOT purposes. Tests are compliant with Canadian drug testing standards the US Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory guidelines.
Oral fluid drug test
A simple, non-invasive oral fluid testing device. This Quantisal test is completed under direct observation, avoiding the risk of adulteration and substitution.
Breath alcohol
A breath alcohol test using an evidential-breath testing device to determine the concentration of alcohol in a breath sample. TapLabs’ breath alcohol test results may be used for both DOT and Non-DOT purposes.
Test results and reporting
In partnership with DynaCare, a SAMSHA-accredited laboratory, and Canadian MRO, TapLabs can be entrusted to deliver accurate and timely confirmatory drug test results. Laboratory results and MRO reports can be easily accessed through Veriport, an industry-leading reporting platform. Veriport’s seamless interface provides point-in-time access to employee records electronically – to ensure employees return to work as quickly as possible.

Ready to book a test? Here's how it works:
If your employer has an account with TapLabs, you have two options for completing your testing:

Book a test – mobile or in-clinic visits
- Create a TapLabs account.
- Download the TapLabs mobile app or go to the online booking portal. Enter your name, email address and password to create an account.
- Book an appointment.
- Select a date and time that works. You can opt to take the test at our lab facility or have a technician meet you at a work site in Calgary. For app bookings, you will receive an alert when the technician is en route and can communicate and track their progress in real-time.
- Be sure to input your company promo code when booking so that you’re not charged to book.

Need an after-hours appointment?
No problem. Our technicians are available 24/7 to perform urgent testing at our clinic or at a job site. Call to book.

Walk-in testing, in clinic
Pop by our new DATAC-accredited clinic in south Calgary between 7 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday and 8 am to 3 pm Saturday for walk-in testing. We'll get you checked in and ready for testing with one of our on-site lab technicians.
